I am a stay at home mom, raising my baby with my best friend our two dogs in an old house with creaky wood floors in Minnesota. I spend my days as a mom and a writer, taking care of my little buddy and looking for the right words to share my stories. My husband is a surgical resident with the heart of a farmer, and we love to sit and plan for “someday.” Where ever we are, and in every stage of life, our little family of three finds moments to enjoy reading good books, making good food, and recognizing memories as they happen. We laugh and pray and read and eat--That’s what we’re all about.
WHY "AUTUMN MEADOW"? During Medical School, we lived in a little apartment on Autumn Meadow Street. I remember hearing that street name before we had ever even set eyes on our apartment and knowing that that was where we were supposed to be. We lived there for four years, during a time of my life when I really came to know myself. And so Autumn Meadow became synonymous with the joyful struggle of figuring it all out, while always whispering of a bright and happy ending. And now it has become the title of our story.
