Maternity Photos

I've had mixed feelings about maternity photos. From what everyone tells me, I'm going to want and appreciate them later, but it has been 9 years since I've had my picture taken professionally, and even then I didn't have to be the only person in the pictures! What do I do with my face? And what should I wear? And then there is the dilemma of wanting high quality pictures but wanting to keep it affordable (without just asking your husband to take some real quick). Lucky for me, my lovely and talented sister in-law, @dianaoco, was happily willing and available to take these pictures while I was in California last month.

This beach in Laguna is just a short drive from where she lives. It was so fun to just walk and talk, and I'm already grateful to have a record of the bump (just shy of 6 months in these pictures!)

It's funny- now that we know the gender, I haven't been keeping track of the weeks as they pass. I'm just enjoying being pregnant and marveling at how fast the time has already gone.
Still... I wonder when the mental countdown to October 9th will begin!
